KudiBooks is software for running a small business in Nigeria: getting paid, delivering the work, looking after your team and keeping books that add up. “Kudi” means money, and the aim is simple: help you get paid and know where your money is.
What it is built around
An invoice should take a minute
Most of the time goes on retyping the same descriptions and prices. KudiBooks remembers what you have billed and suggests it, so a repeat invoice is mostly choosing, not typing.
The books should be right without you thinking about them
Invoices, payments and bills post to a proper double-entry ledger automatically, and amounts are calculated exactly, never approximated.
History should not be rewritten
Fixing a mistake adds a reversing entry rather than editing the original, so you can always see what was recorded and when.
Each business’s data stays its own
Every record belongs to one business and is only ever read in that business’s context.
Honest about what is not built
We list what is missing, such as live bank connections and emailing invoices, instead of implying it exists.
