People & payroll
Keep a record for each person who works for you, take new joiners through a checklist, track their leave, and run the month’s payroll with tax and pension worked out. Approving a run posts it to your books, and each person gets a payslip.
Full feature guide →- A record for everyone
- Contact details, job and department, who they report to, probation, bank and tax details, emergency contact and documents such as contracts and ID, kept private.
- Onboarding and offboarding checklists
- Ticking the last onboarding item makes someone active. When someone leaves, record why and when, and a leaving checklist starts.
- Leave that adds up
- Leave types with yearly allowances, carry-over and paid or unpaid. Balances, requests and approvals, a calendar of who is away, and public holidays that do not count against anyone.
- Payroll rules you control
- Pension, NHF, NSITF, rent relief and the PAYE tax bands are settings, not fixed rules. The defaults follow Nigeria’s personal income tax rules from January 2026. Have your accountant confirm them for your business.
- Part months and unpaid leave
- Someone who joins or leaves mid-month is paid for the days they worked. Approved unpaid leave comes off their pay. A bonus is taxed at the rate it lands on, not as twelve months of pay.
- Payslips as PDFs
- Each payslip shows earnings, deductions and net pay in your brand colour. Email them all at once or one at a time. Nobody is sent the same one twice by accident.
- It posts to your books
- Approving a run records salaries and employer costs as expenses and what is owed to staff, tax and pension as liabilities. Marking it paid moves the money out of your bank account.
- Private by design
- Only owners, admins and accountants see staff records and pay. Everyone else sees just their own leave and payslips, matched to them by email.
