Recurring invoices for work you bill every month

Set up a schedule once. KudiBooks creates the invoice on the day and can issue it for you, so a retainer never depends on you remembering.

Free to use. No card needed.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set the schedule

Choose a customer, the items, and weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.

  2. 2

    Choose how it runs

Decide whether each invoice is issued automatically or left as a draft for you to check. Set how many days customers have to pay.

  3. 3

    Let it run

Invoices are created once a day when they are due. Pause, resume or cancel whenever you need to.

What you get

Four frequencies
Weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, with an optional end date.
Month-ends handled
A schedule that starts on the 31st uses the last day of shorter months, then goes back to the 31st.
Create the next one early
Need to bill ahead of schedule? Create this cycle’s invoice now with one click.
Catches up if it falls behind
If a due invoice was missed, the next run creates the ones that are owed, up to twelve periods at a time.
Full control
Pause, resume or cancel a schedule at any time. Cancelled schedules stop for good.

Common questions

Are recurring invoices sent to my customer automatically?

They are created, and issued if you chose that, automatically. Sharing is still up to you: send the payment link or the PDF. Emailing from KudiBooks is not built yet.

Can I review each invoice before it is issued?

Yes. Turn off automatic issuing and each one is created as a draft for you to check.

What if a customer’s price changes?

Cancel the schedule and start a new one with the new items. Invoices already created are not affected.
